I am starting this blog so that my friends and family can share in my trip to Samothrace, Greece, next month.

I am a biostatistician who is interested in classical Greece. I have been collaborating with my colleague Bonna, an architectural historian, on questions regarding architectural metrics that were used in design and construction during this historical period.

This is my office on Samothrace:

She does the dirty work of collecting the data. Then my team and I get down and dirty with the data analysis.

Bonna and I will be on Samothrace during July and August, 2009. Follow along on my adventures.
